Relive the Golden Age of Radio with our old time radio CDs.

Adventures In Research, 1 mp3 CD, 89 Episodes

Adventures In Research began broadcasting in the early 1940s and ended its run during the 1950s. Paul Shannon was the host of the show and it was sponsored by Westinghouse Electric. Phillip Thomas, a Westinghouse physicist, wrote the scripts for the show. These were stories of dramatic and, somewhat surprisingly, entertaining accounts of the history of American scientific research. The 15-minute production featured inventions, inventors and technology. Click here for a list of episodes on this CD.
