Aladdin's Lamp featured Smilin' Ed McConnell. Ed got his start on WLW radio in Cincinnati in the 1930s and became as a successful pitch man for Aladdin Kerosene Lamps. Ed became known as 'The Aladdin Lamp Man' who sang songs, told stories and sold Aladdin lamps over the air.
