Ports of Call is a syndicated radio series that began in 1935 and ran through 1936. Each episode deals with a voyage to a different country where events of that country's history are dramatized. These give a glimpse at how Americans viewed their world neighbors seventy-five years ago. The Digital Deli Online website describes the program as, "...a combination of travelogue, geography lesson, World Music, and docudrama." That's as good a description of this old radio program as any. Click here for a list of episodes on this old time radio CD.
